A collection of working applications built to support active research and venture work.
An AI-powered accessibility Progressive Web App built on the Claude API. It uses live camera input to verbally identify objects and guide a user’s hand toward them in real time — for example, locating and guiding a hand to a teaspoon on a table. No specialist hardware is required; it works on any device. Designed with neurodivergent and trauma-informed principles at its core. Provisional patent filed.
Claude API · PWA · Provisional patent filedA family of free, private check-in apps, each shaped for one kind of work or life situation: paramedics, train drivers, hospital workers, teachers, carers, people in custody, new parents, people in grief and many more. Users check in after a shift, notice what they’re carrying, and find free support made for their kind of work. Everything stays on the user’s phone, with no accounts, analytics or trackers. Unladen is in early release and is being tested with the people it’s for.
76 versions · Offline PWA · Private by designA multi-framework psychology and self-knowledge application developed for Project Humanity. It offers six assessment tools — Dark Spectrum, Attachment Style, Enneagram, Stress Response, Emotional Intelligence, and Love Languages — each interpreted through a neurodivergent lens. Designed for both facilitated and independent use, including educational contexts. Atlas is intended as the consolidating platform for EyeSpy and related profiling tools going forward.
Six assessment tools · Neurodivergent lens · In developmentA research instrument implementing a falsifiable protocol that compares hand-biomechanics automatic-writing data against NOAA solar flare data, with a 500-shuffle chance baseline for statistical comparison.
Protocol · Falsifiable · 500-shuffle baseline · In developmentThe design system and component library underpinning Co-Synthesist’s web presence, built in React, Vite, and Tailwind.
React · Vite · Tailwind · In developmentA Progressive Web App built to support independent research travel and documentation. It combines a self-assessment instrument across four domains — Resonance Sensitivity, Imprint Patterning, Regulatory Capacity, and Relational Attunement — a somatic practice library, and a Field Journal with location tagging, mood markers, and voice-to-text journalling. It includes an AI research companion, PDF export, offline capability, and an itinerary tracker with a geographic timeline mapping research stops. Built to travel: a working research instrument as much as a journal.
Background on the HNIS framework is set out in the research frameworks.
PWA · Offline · PDF exportA cabinet of unfolding thought: a private notebook for ideas in three spaces, Genesis & New Starts, Murmurings on History & Art, and Invention & Science. Each entry records the idea, where it came from, and what kind of thing it might become, from concept or app to startup or framework. Entries stay in your own browser, with a backup you can save and load.
Browser · On-device · Backup and restoreA deck of 54 cards about the Enigma machine and the people who broke it, with five ways to play: explore the deck, a codebreaker quiz, build the machine, Enigma poker, and a secret message machine that turns your words into real Enigma code.
Browser game · 54 cards · Five modesA rotating holographic cube that carries 18 short lessons across physics, chemistry, biology, maths, astronomy and engineering. Turn the cube to choose a face and open its lesson.
Browser · 18 lessonsA new way to write music. Pitch is a number counted from a chosen home note (0), rhythm is a slice of a circle, and harmony is a set of rings that sit neatly when they agree. Build a phrase by tapping notes, change the home note and watch every number recompute, or upload a picture of a drawn line and the app traces it into a melody. Made alongside the chamber opera Veil of Ash.
Browser · Image tracing · TranspositionA browser-based recorder for podcast interviews and episodes on location, with fields for episode title, guest, location and notes. Recordings stay on your own device.
